She was a long-time member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Decatur and Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Atlanta. In 2008 she moved to Cullman to be near her daughter. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was her family and she often expressed pride in her children and grandchildren. Rose loved, and was loyal to, her many friends and was famous for writing notes and letters, making great efforts to stay in touch even after writing became too difficult for her. (Rick) Craig, III (Marcie) of Houston, TX; grandchildren Tom Medland, Jr. of Ft. Collins, CO; Allyson Lovelace of Castle Rock, CO; Ashley Thomas of Missoula, MT; Kimberly Morley of Eugene, OR; Ryan Morley of Marietta, GA; Derick and Andrew Craig, of Houston, TX; and great-grandchildren Chandler, Brianna and William Thomas and Owen Lovelace. She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Craig, Jr., and daughter, Paula Jean Morley. Reception of the body, followed by Vespers, will take place at 5:00 P.M. on Monday, September 26, at Sacred Heart Monastery Chapel, Cullman, AL. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 27, at Sacred Heart Monastery Chapel with Abbot Cletus D. Meagher, OSB officiating. Interment will be at Arlington Memorial Park, Atlanta, GA, on September 28 at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Benedictine Sisters' Renovation Fund, 916 Convent Rd., NE, Cullman, AL 35055 or to the charity of your preference. Rose was our good friend and neighbor for many years when we all lived in Leafmore Hills and later in Thornhill. Rose will be missed by all who knew her. We shared many happy times with Rose and Jim and will always remember them.

Our prayers and condolences to Donna, Carol and Ricky and their families at this sad time. We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Father of love, source of all blessings, you have led me throughout my life, and you lead me still.
