Ryan BASHOR Obituary

BASHOR, Ryan Ryan W. Bashor, 29, died on Wednesday, August 6th, 2014 in Newport, Oregon following a very private battle with bipolar disorder. Ryan was born and raised in Decatur, Georgia until he moved to Idaho where he met his wife, Rachael. He made countless friends while attending Druid Hills High School, Georgia Tech and the University of Idaho. He later settled in Newport where he married and started a family. Ryan was a profoundly loving, generous and caring man who never knew a stranger. His beaming smile, warm laughter, and stories filled any room he entered. Ryan is survived by his wife, Rachael Bashor; daughter, Jocie Bashor and a new son, Owen Wolcott Bashor, who will arrive later this year; his parents, Mark Bashor and Katie Bashor; younger sister, Jessie Bashor and her husband Cathal Doyle; a large extended family; and countless friends. A memorial service celebrating the love he shared for his family and friends will be held at The Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception Sunday, August 24 at 4:00 p.m. A reception will follow immediately after the service at Central Presbyterian Church, which is adjacent to the Shrine. In lieu of flowers, the Bashor family requests donations to The Ryan Bashor Memorial Education Fund, which will be used to provide education for Ryan's two young children. Checks can be made out to "Ryan Bashor Memorial Education Fund" and mailed to this address: Ryan Bashor Memorial Education Fund 295 Chelsea Circle Decatur, GA 30030
