O'BRIEN, Sean David

February 2, 2025

Sean David O'Brien was born on November 3,1971, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to David Patrick and Ann Marie (Brunk) O'Brien. He was preceded in death by his parents; his aunts, Joan (Brunk) Couch, Dolores (Brunk) Lovins; his uncles, William Couch, Sr., Donald Lovins, Richard Moore, Sr.; his cousins, William Couch, Jr., Donna Lovins Connolly, Richard Guidugli, Joseph Gyure, Stephen Lovins, and Nancy Moore.

Sean was a doting, devoted and supportive husband and father. He was a Computer IT guru who enjoyed baseball, football, long walks, tennis and his family. He was learning the game of volleyball to help his cherished daughter. He was a big Eagles and 80's Rock fan. Born and raised in South Florida, he followed the University of Miami, Hurricanes.

Sean is survived by his wife, of 14 years, Su (Maciel) O'Brien; his daughter, Sarah Margaret O'Brien; aunt, Patricia (Brunk) Moore; cousin, Robert (Vicki) Couch, Susan (Duff) Arnold, Lisa (Dave) Fisher, Beverly Gyure, Patrica Long, Debbie (Mark) Sullivan, Julie Moore, Kimberly Guidugli, Mary Beth (Pat) Schroer, Richard (Krista) Moore, and many more 3rd and 4th cousins. Best friend/Brother, Nathan (Suzanne) Jones; nephews, Trenton, Hunter and Grayson Jones.

Cremation was chosen and Sean's funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Saint Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 7171 Glenridge Dr, Atlanta, GA 30328 at 10 AM. Reception follows the mass at the Stapleton Center at the church.

Interment will take place over the summer at Lauderdale Memorial Park Cemetery at 2001 SW 4th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315.
