Mr. Lawrence, as I knew you from Cousins Middle School, what a great person, teacher, co-worker, friend. I just heard of your departing...sadly. My condolences go out to your family, friends, and students. I feel fortunate to have been a substitute teacher in your class if only for two short months. You taught me so much about caring for students, for people, disciplining and loving at the same time, and always encouraging the best in everybody. As I continue to work with students, I often ask myself, "What would Mr. Lawrence do?" You are remembered.

I had a difficult time writing in your guest book....But I kept hearing you scream in my ear "Hurry up." (smile). We had many great times and we laughed so much together (especially in Dr. Williams-Way summer class). We must remember, this is not a time for sorrow, but a time to rejoice because you are with The Almighty...what other better place to be! God definitely has an agenda for you in Heaven. And Tao, Heaven not college, so no more excuses. Get to work and do what HE tells you to do (smile). Always remember that I love you and I will forever miss you.
