Family-Placed Death Notice
PICKENS, Ted Mr. Ted Pickens, 63, of Loganville, GA died February 11, 2013. Dad, Pawpaw, brother, son, friend- he was a great man with a big heart. He was always there to help anyone in any way that he could. He will be dearly missed by all of those that had the pleasure to know him. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Thomas and Sara Pickens; brothers: Donald and Jimmy Pickens; and sister, Juanita Mayo. Mr. Pickens was survived by his two daughters: Lea Pickens and Lisa Lauder; grandchildren: Ashley, Kristina (Smiley), Miranda, Kimbo, Whitney Gomez, Eddie, Pawpaw's Jenny, Ted; great-grandchildren: Maria, Jaden, Zander and Alexis; brother, Wayne Pickens; sister, Lynn Hames, lifelong friend, Donna Matthews, and child in his heart, Holli Smith. The family will receive visitors Friday, February 15th from 2-4pm and 6-8 pm at A.S. Turner & Sons. Pastor Kevin Kuykendall will perform the service to be held at the chapel at A. S. Turner & Sons N. Decatur Road on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 1:00pm.
