Terry was the happiest, most energetic, and generous dancer at contradance . . . and my favorite dance partner for years, until both of us had to stop dancing for health reasons. She also sang her heart out. And loved to travel to exotic places, and bring back good stories. In the end, her family was No. 1.
She had a good life. Can you ask for more? What a special woman.
I realized as I read my emails that Terry's memorial service was this morning - and I missed it. I'm so sorry about that. My thoughts are with you, Carman, and the rest of her family. Take care. Love, Doug

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

I met Terry when I started contra dancing around 2002. She quickly became my favorite dance partner. As a newcomer, she made me feel welcome, as she was always happy to see me, and always asked me to dance. She would often bring me gifts to wear dancing - pins, bracelets, blinking lights, etc. So I started trying to dress with as much 'bling' as she did. But I could never match her! Wow, we had such a great time. I will miss her so much.

Terry loved to dance. For years she was a regular at the Cajun dances at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Buford Highway. She was always full of energy and with a great big smile. And she always wore sparkly jewelry, clothes, and footwear, sometimes outfitted with batteries to make sure she flashed. You couldn't miss Terry at a dance. One of my favorite dance partners. She will be missed.

Terry was such an extraordinary individual. I was fortunate to have her apply for a job in our office at Montreal Medical and hiring her brought that marvelous energy into our work world. She was always full of stories of her adventures whether traveling or dancing or going to movies or theme parks or just walking dogs. With Terry there was always a story. Often about her family Whom she loved and treasured so very much. Then there was her determination to make sure the office was decorated for every holiday or occasion- often spending her own money on those decorations. Her desk was full of little vignettes from hula dancers to funny flowers - each an expression of her endless creativity. Here was this little woman who only worked part time in the file room but who had an enormous impact on our office - blessing us in so many ways. To her family - I just want you to know how much she meant to us and how much my heart goes out to you. May your memories of Terry's smiling face and bubbling personality carry you through the grief of losing her. With sympathy- Jane Ross
