Larry and Hazel, George just found out the other day when he saw Larry at the recy ctr, we are so so sorry for your loss, Terry was a great kid, he used to take my groceries in for me, when I was pregnant and we were neighbors at Kings Gate. Our Puppy dog, caused him to flip completely in the air one day while Terry was riding across the back yard on his bike - he said "No big deal, I'm OK" He was such a sweet, blond haired angel of a boy, that grew into a very handsome young man, when George told me, I was heart broken, please know that you ALL are in our prayers. I am still at a loss for words. Having known Terry since 6th grade, I have been honored to call him best friend and brother for a long time. You will be missed in so many ways, by so many people. You lived life to the fullest and touched many lives during your short 36 years. Sleep well my brother, for we will have a lot of catching up to do when we meet again.

To Tricia and Harlee, all of the Hammock family and the Kelley family, please know that you are in our hearts and prayers.

Barry,

I am so very sorry for you and your families loss. I know the pain is tremendous, especially it being so sudden and taken away so fast. Just know the good Lord must have needed him for something very special. He will always be yall's Guardian Angel looking down over each of you giving protection and guidance. He will always be with you and sending you messages, maybe finding a penny on the ground or a butterfly that starts showing up alot. He is there and always will be, never forget the memories yall made together as family and siblings. I promise one day you will be able to talk about your Brother with a smile and without the tears. Time heals the pain and helps bring back all the good thoughts, that is the way your Brother would have wanted it. I am truley sending many prayers your way. ~~ May he R I P ~~

I knew Terry from the ball field, as a coach for many years, you get to know those who care not only for the game of baseball, but who care for the kids that played the game. Terry was an individual who "stuck out" as one who was fair, exact, and cared for the game "for the kids" - that is what gained him the respect from all the coaches that saw him behind the plate and were excited to know that this was going to be a good game - he will be missed by all the coaches, kids and parents that knew of his good will and love for the game.

June 28, 2010

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad time. Praying that you will find comfort in Jesus and the love of friends and family.

Sadly, I knew two of the three. This one hit hard because his mother and I got to know each other over a phone. Me working daycare, and her working pictures. We shared stories of Terry, Barry, Kevin and Cameron. And we grew so close. I then went to work for Hazel and got to know her family even more. And I felt like they were my family. I remember her calling me to say that Harlee had been born. When I got to the hospital Terry met me in the hallway with the biggest grin on his face. I don't think that I have ever seen a more proud first time daddy as Terry.
To Hazel, Larry, and family, you all are in my thoughts and prayers. If there is anything I can do please let me know.
To Harlee, always remember that your daddy is with you. He is in your heart and always will be.

Just know that Tricia and Harlee will be watched over, rest easy my brother, Love, Ski

Mrs. Hammock and family:

May you feel the empathy of our Heavenly Father, who promises the resurrection just because of circumstances like this.

It may not feel so good right now
To endure upon this earth
You might be lingering in bed
And doubting tomorrow’s worth.

But rest assured each day will come
Bringing its own small joys,
Most times we have to search for them
As kids for hidden toys.

Don’t pass a flower without first
Examining this formed beauty
Each petal awash with tints and colors
Spreading happiness its main duty.

Reflect on animals, oceans, and trees
Majestic mountain scenes
Consider the God who made all this
Feel your sad heart become serene.

God knows your loss, He feels your loss
And most importantly
He can restore all this world has removed
Gifting life eternally.

Peace of mind is a blessing from above
And peace you’ll see earth wide
Resurrected loved ones under God’s Kingdom
Once you choose to, and remain on his side.
Mrs. A Calloway

Tricia,Harlee,Larry,Hazel,Barry and other relatives: I would like to say hearing about Terry yesterday from Larry made me very sad and also glad that I knew this young man fo his entire life. I will always remember him as a small child at the ballfields running around with that wavy blond hair blowing in the breeze. To have life cut short through a tragedy is indeed very painful, but to know how dedicated he was as husband, father, and son also makes me very proud of him.
