Although Teddy was a year ahead of me at Spencer High, we were friends. We worked at the Officers Club after school. What I remember most about Teddy was his beautiful baritone voice and his kind and gentle nature. I also remember a group of us visiting Teddy during his first year at Clark College in Atlanta. Teddy and I also had a musical connection (Teddy Jones the singer and Ted Callier the trumpet player).
My prayers go out to Teddy's family. May God give you comfort during this time of grief. General "Ted" Callier (Plattsmouth, Nebraska).

What a great principal Mr. Jones was. He kept us safe but allowed us to enjoy ourselves while being educated with excellence. I shall keep his spirit with me as I follow in his footsteps and work to educate children with the guidance of God and role models like Mr. Jones. May God continue to bless his family and love ones.

Joyce,
I taught at Bass High School and your dad was my principal. He was a very caring, talented person who treated his faculty with respect. I pray that you use your precious memories of him to anchor you and your family through this difficult time.

Jesus shared that He had to go in order to prepare a special room for us in His Father's House(John 14:2). I know that today Bro. Ted is happily singing with his beloved wife in that special room prepared for them in glory. May you find love, joy and peace in the songs they sang together and the lives they lived. Bro. Jones was a true mentor, friend and Kappa Man. Our deepest prayers to the Jones Family.
