Ida Jane,
This is Jerry Reed and I wanted to write you a note to express my hopes that you will get through this hard time as well as you can. It seems really strange to say that we probably haven't seen each other for over 53 years. I don't think we have see each other since we graduated. Again I am sorry to hear of your loss.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your dear mother and grandmother. Mrs. Wallace was my second grade teacher. While strict, she was always very kind and caring. Even after I left her class, she always remembered me and cared about me as a person. I have very fond memories about this dear lady and I know that she is in Heaven now.
May the Lord hold you in His Loving Arms and give you comfort in this terrible time of grief.
