Agnes Frances Wolfe
2/26/1924 - 6/1/2006

Agnes Frances Wolfe was born February 26, 1924, and entered into eternal rest June 1, 2006 at her home in El Dorado Hills, Calif. A native Bee, Nebr., she moved to Oakland, Calif. in 1944, where she married Corbett Wolfe Jr. She was a Claims Examiner for the State of California Disability Department. In 1968 she moved to Auburn, Calif. for retirement at Lake of the Pines, where she lived for 34 years.
She was active in many groups including the Lake of the Pines Womens Golf Association, where she served many offices including Captain. She also founded the Fire Belles Ladies Auxiliary of the Fire Department. Also while at Lake of the Pines, she served on many committees for the community. An avid card player, she enjoyed many bridge and pinochle groups. She also enjoyed a successful hand-crafting business making soft sculpture items, and gardening, especially her flowers.
In June 2003 Agnes moved to El Dorado Hills where she became an active member of several bridge and pinochle groups. She was an active member of the Mad Hatters and knitted and crocheted many baby caps for newborns and lap robes for the veterans
Preceded in death by husband Corbett; son Corbett James; mother Katherine and father Engelbert Hrnicek; brothers James, John, and Dr. Leo Hrnicek; and sister Beatrix Kohl. Survived by daughter Charlotte Heath; granddaughters Alexis Ann Moore and Deidre Lynn Belfiore; great-grandsons Corbett Thomas Belfiore and Bradford Michael Belfiore; brother Bert Hrnicek of Seward, Nebr., and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held June 21, 2006, at 1 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 307 Montrose Dr., Folsom, CA.
Memorial contributions may be made to Snowline Hospice, 670 Placerville Dr. Suites 2 and 3, Placerville, CA. 95762 or to Mad Hatters, 678 Loma Verde Court, El Dorado Hills, CA. 95762, or to the charity of your choice.
