Remembering Bernadette
August 9, 2013
Mental illness is such a devastating disease. I truly believe Bernadette now rests in God's light and loving embrace. My prayers are with her family & loved ones that they will know peace & understanding.

Condolences to all the family, especially her children, & dear friends. Thank you for addressing mental illness & the seriousness of it. So many disrupted lives due to the loss of someone so young & vibrant too. God be with you all. May you be encouraged knowing many care deeply.

I never met Bernadette but bless you for addressing two very difficult things in this obituary...taking one's own life and bipolar. I am touched by your loss and appreciate you sharing your sorrow and as you stated the effect bi-polar has on everyone in the family. God bless you and the future of her children. Sincerely
Judy

Such a heartbreaking loss. This beautiful woman fighting the for her life against a cruel disease. Mental issues are so complicated, and answers impossible to find. Please always remember how she tried to free herself from its grip. May her love always remain in your hearts.
