What fun we had with Aunt Doris up at the ranch! She would play records for my sister and me while we did the dinner dishes, and we would all sing along. After the dishes were done, we put on our pajamas and climbed into Aunt Doris' bed. She'd let us read her magazines and comic books and she would tickle us until we were hysterical with laughter. She left us all with happy memories.

Aunt Doris was a wonderful, fun loving, gentle woman. So many wonderful memories at the ranch growing up. Cousins would get together at the ranch with our parents or without our parents and Aunt Doris would always make it memorable for us. In later years it was fun getting together with her to talk about old times and make new memories. Maril, my sister, and I did so in February this year. Maril had a class in Burbank in February, so we planned to visit with Aunt Doris at her new home. I flew down to Burbank to meet up with Maril and we set out to make our visit. Maril and I were so happy to share time with Aunt Doris one last time. We are sadden that this would be the last time. Aunt Doris was so happy to be with her family that loved her so dearly. She was really loving life and looking wonderful. We thought for sure she could last another 10 years at least. So sorry that did not happen. Aunt Doris we love you.
