Earl Staurseth Obituary
7/26/1934 - 5/19/2012
Earl was born in Minneapolis, Minn., and passed away peacefully in Lincoln, Calif., after a long and courageous struggle with Parkinson's disease. Following his graduation from high school in Minneapolis, he served in the Air Force during the Korean War. After his tour of duty, Earl settled in Northern California where he engaged in a 30 year career in the sales of cars and mobile homes.
Earl was preceded in death by his mother Helvi Houtari of Minneapolis, Minn., and is survived by his step-daughter, Cindy Osborne, of Kent, Wash. He also leaves the Robertson families who 'adopted' him as their own, and cousins in Minnesota.
Earl was a classic car enthusiast and enjoyed his membership in various car clubs.
A celebration of his life will be held Friday June 8, 2012 at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, Calif. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the Parkinson's Foundation.
