Jack Criswell Obituary
Jack E. Criswell of Alameda County died at the age of 81 on October 30, 2016, he was preceded in death by his oldest grandson Jack Shane Carter. He was survived by his loving wife of 63 years Betty A. Criswell and his four daughters; Michele Rath, Cheryl Van Hove, Jacqueline Brineger, Samantha Samra, six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great great grandson and his brother in law Bruce Hartman.
Jack actively served in the Navy from 1953-1954 and continued as a reservist from 1954-1956.
He served as the Commandant for the Folsom VFW post 6604 from 2005-2006. He was very social and loved life. He was an avid California history buff, enjoyed horseback riding, boating , fishing, loved traveling and discovering all that our great country had to offer. He will missed by all that loved and knew him.
Memorial Services will be held on November 13, 2016 at the VFW post 6604, at 1300 Folsom St, Folsom CA 95630 at 5 p.m.
