James Morris Kellison, of Yuba City, Calif. passed away April 11, 2016 in his home surrounded by family. Born in Sacramento, Calif., December 30, 1959 and was raised in Lincoln, Calif. He was a Yuba Sutter resident for 25 years.
James was co-owner of the Diamond Palace. He joined the U.S. Army and was a Warrant Officer - Helicopter Pilot, a Desert Storm Veteran with the 101 First Airborne Division. He received several ribbons and medals during his service. Prior to joining the Army, Jim spent several years in Lincoln with his dad manufacturing the Kellison Stallion, a limited edition luxury sports car.
James is survived by his wife Lisa Kellison of Yuba City, Calif.; daughters April Kellison of Yuba City, Hilary Kellison of Sacramento, Calif., Sally Kellison Neadeau of Yuba City; brothers David Kellison of Grass Valley, Calif., Steve Kellison of Sacramento and Chris Kellison of Yuba City, and sister Robin Kellison of Marysville, Calif.
He is preceded in death by his father James Frank Kellison.
Services will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, Calif.
A Celebration of Life reception will take place after the service at the Olde Vets Hall at 231 N First St (Hwy. 113), Dixon, Calif.
