Jim, who was suddenly called to Heaven, is survived by parents Alida and Dale Craighead, sister Sheri Ormonde Gregory, brothers Darell and Scot Craighead, children Terryn Middlebrooks, Alan Ormonde, and Austin Ormonde, as well as grandson Xander Middlebrooks and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by infant brother Michael, father Thomas Ormonde, and sister Jennifer Ormonde Hansen.
Jim was born in Susanville, Calif. and graduated from Sparks High in Nevada. Jim enjoyed sports, cars, music, and the outdoors. Recently, Jim lived in Auburn for 10 years where he made many friends, for whom he would do anything.
We will celebrate Jim's life at Pistol Pete's in Auburn Calif. at 3:00 p.m. on Sat. August 1, 2015. Funeral arrangements are made by Sierra Foothills Funeral Services. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to March of Dimes.
