Lawrence Borba Obituary
7/29/43 – 8/14/17
Larry Borba passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 in Roseville, Calif. He was 74. He was born July 29, 1943 in Auburn, Calif. to the late William and Lucille Borba. He attended Lincoln schools and was a lifelong resident of Lincoln.
Larry worked as a mechanic and truck driver his entire life. He was a volunteer on the Lincoln Fire Department for many years and a former member of the Portuguese Holy Ghost Association. Larry enjoyed water skiing, fishing, working cattle, caring for his turtles, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Larry is survived by his wife Elaine; brother David (Janet) Borba; daughters Karin (Ken) Borba, Tina (Scott) Stone; Nicole (Tim) Sanders and bonus-daughter Monica (Anthony) Gilmer; grand- children Krystin, Mariah, Jordan, Sienna, Baylee, Jordan, Amaya, Ezekiel and Darius; and great- granddaughter Braelynn.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and daughter Lori Ann.
Larry will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed greatly and forever loved by us all.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 1 p.m. at McBean Park Pavillion, Lincoln, Calif.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Portuguese Holy Ghost Association (in the name of Lawrence Borba), PO Box 1123, Lincoln, CA 95648. Make checks payable to APDES or Lincoln Holy Ghost.
