Suzanne, Jessica and Brian, and Colleen,
We were so sorry to hear about Mack's illness and passing. You are all in our prayers. My words seem so inadequate. I wish there was something we could say or do to make it better, but I know there really isn't. Just know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Thank you to everyone who has signed the guest book, daddy left us too soon, and a legacy behind that will be carried on by my sister and I, and our mother. Thanks to everyone's prayers and amazing support. We are taking this day by day, and hour by hour, we miss him more every single day.

Suzanne,
My deepest sympathies. I wish I could say something more meaningful and more powerful than, I’m very sorry for your loss of your husband, and your husband’s loss of his life with you.
If there’s any small thing that I or other Ophir parents can do, to make your coming time easier, please let us know.
Even for adults, it is extremely hard to know what to say to support a griever. If your fifth-graders don’t express their support in the way that would feel best to you, please advise the parents, and we will gently educate them, hopefully, to both your benefit and theirs.
