Robert Boderman Obituary

Robert J. Boderman was born May 20, 1934 in Sumner, Iowa. Bob spent his early years in NE Iowa, graduating from Sumner High School in 1952 and Iowa State Teachers College in 1956. Following college, he served in the U.S. Army in active duty overseas and then reserve duty until the early sixties, when he moved to California.
His professional career was dedicated to sales in the steel industry working for Gilmore Steel, Palm Iron and Del Paso Steel. Bob retired and lived in Placer County until his death on February 3, 2009. Bob was an avid golfer, enjoyed watching sporting events and traveled extensively in his later years. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother; Duane and is survived by two stepchildren; Melissa Mahle, Blake Boyle; four nephews and two nieces.
