Andrew "Andy" Jupin

AUBURN - Andrew 'Andy' Jupin, 81, of 32 Kensington Ave., Auburn passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at home. Andy was a lifelong resident of Auburn, he retired from NYSEG with 38 years of service and was a United States Army veteran. He graduated from West High School and was a member of Holy Family Church, a member of the Quarter Century Club at NYSEG and the Auburn Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed spending time at 'The Library,' also known as OTB. Surviving are his wife, Josephine Toomey Jupin, whom he married on Aug. 27, 1955 in St. Aloysius Church, Auburn; a brother, John Jupin and wife, Doris, of Auburn; sisters, Mary Fogarty, of Auburn and Ann Moore, of Apopka, Fla.; sisters-in-law, Margaret and Betty Toomey, of Auburn; many nieces nephews and cousins; special neighbors, Ted Glowacki, Kristi, Linda Alnutt, a best friend, Molly, his cat. He was predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Mary Civic Jupin; a sister, Helen and brother, Mike Jupin. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 11, in Holy Family Church, Auburn. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Farrell's Funeral Service Inc., 84 South St., Auburn. Memorials may be made to Holy Family Church.
