Betty, Andy, David and Karen...I am so sorry to read of Andy's passing. I have thought of him frequently through the years since our relocating to Florida and I enjoyed keeping in touch with him over the computer. Andy was a valued friend and a great shipmate but even moreso, he was in tune with our Heavenly Father which ensures his place in the Heaven we believe in and pray for. I wish I could have seen him one more time, but with that said, he will remain in my prayers and in my heart.

Mrs. Walker and family, I am very sorry for your loss. Captain Walker administered my oath when I joined the Navy Reserve in 1963, and a couple of months ago I got to talk to Captain Walker again after 47 years. We shared stories of the Evans Street(school)reserve center and our fellow sailors who served there. Captain Walker was truly an Officer and a Gentleman, may he rest in peace.

Mrs. Walker,

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Walker's untimely passing. He was such a good man. When my father passed away in 1972 and we moved to Auburn from NJ, he and your whole family welcomed us warmly. Mr Walker was always having us kids over and treated us so well. I know Bill and I have many good memories of our growing up on Oakridge Road due to his kindness. I felt like an extension of your family with Andy, Scott, and Karen. My family's thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
