AUBURN - Camille G. Donovan, 87, of 20 Park Ave., Auburn, formerly of the Boyle Center, passed away Friday, July 9, 2004, at Finger Lakes Center For Living.
She was born in Auburn, the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Speech Giannone and had been a life resident. Camille was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and a member of the Holy Rosary Society. She had been previously employed by the New York Telephone Company and more recently had worked at the family business, Donovan-Luksa Paper Products in Auburn. Mrs. Donovan was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Camille cherished the many hours spent with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving children, three daughters, Mary (Ken) Nicoline of Fla., Doreen (Sean) Lacey of Aurora, Debbie (Gerry) Kovolchuk of Tenn.; two sons, George (Cathy) Donovan and Michael Donovan; a sister, Mary Margaret (John) Hayes, all of Auburn; 12 grandchildren, Melinda Van Liew, Tracey Fanning, Kristin Egan, Timothy, Megan and Melissa Lacey, Jaime, Mackenzie and Michelle Donovan, Corey and Rebecca Kovolchuk, Debbie Molloy; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Camille was predeceased by her husband, George in 1972; a sister, Philomena Pietrosimone; a brother, Albert Giannone and a very dear friend, Irene Kudla
Friends are invited to join the family at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Church for Camille's Mass of Christian burial with the Rev. Frank Lioi, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn.
