AUBURN - Charles A. Lewis, 67, of Standart Woods Apartments, Auburn, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005, at Auburn Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Lewis was born in Auburn, on April 3, 1937. He was the son of the late William and Anne Bodner Lewis. He attended local schools in Auburn, and was a veteran of the Army. Mr. Lewis was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church, and was a member of the American Legion Swietoniowski Kopeczek Post 1324.
He is survived by his sisters, Ann Marie White (Lewis) of Waterloo and Linda Humphrey (Will) of Pittsford; his brother, Robert (Carol) Lewis of Auburn; nieces and nephews, Kathy Coomber, Mary Beth Shaw, Julie and R.J. Lewis, Brenda Szymanski, Edward and Cindy White and Stephen and Stephanie Humphrey.
There will be no public calling hours for Mr. Lewis. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, at the White Chapel Funeral Home, 197 South St. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fleming.
Those desiring, may send memorial contributions to the American Lung Association of CNY, 506 E. Genesee St., Syracuse, NY 13202-1940.
