WEEDSPORT - Mike Maltese, Sr., 52, of Weedsport, passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 8, 2021. He was born May 3, 1968, the son of Andrew and Helen Maltese.
Mike was employed for over 26 years with the NYS Department of Corrections and was a proud, active member of NYSCOPBA. He enjoyed concerts, his motorcycle, fishing, watching the New York Yankees and listening to the "screaming, rip-your-face off" style of music. Most importantly, Mike deeply loved his family.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Lombardi Maltese of Weedsport; children: Michael Maltese, Jr., Corinne Jones (Kyle), Lauren Maltese (Luke Burgman); grandchildren: Sawyer and Max Jones and Victoria Maltese; parents Andrew and Helen Maltese; siblings: Andy and Holly Maltese; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends are invited to join the family for calling hours, Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 2 to 5 p.m., in the White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Drive, Weedsport.
