Robert Hamilton Obituary

AUBURN < Robert G. Hamilton, 52, of Standart Woods Apartments, Auburn, passed away peacefully, Friday, Feb. 13, 2009, at his home. He was born on Valentine"s Day in 1956 in Syracuse, the son of Mary Ellen Zorn Hamilton and the late Robert E. Hamilton and had been an area resident for most of his life. Robert had been employed for more than 30 years by the Bombardier Company, retiring in 2003. Robert had a great passion for playing golf and enjoyed the many hours he spent snowmobiling and boating. He is survived by his loving wife, the former Tammie Blackman Hamilton of Auburn; two sons, Jason and Joseph Hamilton, both of Weedsport; his mother, Mary Ellen Hamilton; a sister, Karen (Don) Underwood of Buffalo; six brothers, Chris (Debbie) Hamilton of Singapore, Bill (Sue) Hamilton of Skaneateles, Marty (Cheryl) Hamilton of Wyo., Steve (Lisa) Hamilton of Colo., David (Cindy) Hamilton of Schenectady, Kyle (Dawn) Hamilton of N.J.; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Robert E. Hamilton in 2002. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday with services to immediately follow at the Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn. Contributions may be made in Robert"s memory to Hospice of the Finger Lakes, 1130 Corporate Drive, Auburn, NY 13021. Dear Tammy, and Hamilton Family,

We never knew about Bob was so sick... Friends from Jordan area, that knew "hambone" were shocked.
Sending you our thoughts and sincere prayers that you will get by. Bob is gone, but never be forgotten. His memory will always be in our hearts.

WE have all had our days this past year, loosing many friends and family members. It's been tough, be we struggle through. He will always be there with you in spirit..
