Ross "Mike" Rathbun

July 18, 1940 - January 22, 2025

Ross "Mike" Rathbun, 84 passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, peacefully at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, with family and his beloved companion Casper by his side. Mike was born in Auburn, on July 18, 1940, the son of the late Ross H. and Evelyn May Rathbun. He retired from Carrier Corp. in Syracuse following 35 years of faithful employment. Mike was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, Mike was predeceased by his wife, Vincenta Vasile Rathbun in 2022.

He is survived by his children, Brian (Mary) Rathbun, Gregory (Michelle) Rathbun, and Michael D. (Sue) Rathbun; grandchildren, Mikayla and Kyle Rathbun; his fur baby, Casper; and several nieces and nephews.

Per Mike's wishes, there are no services scheduled at this time. Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South Street, Auburn. Contributions may be made in memory of Mike to Hospice of Central New York, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, NY 13088.
