Dear Willie, Pat & Tom and Family,
We were terribly surprised to read of Sam's unexpected passing. He was always such a wonderful man to
us. I'll always refer to him as my Uncle Sam. The years have passed, but the loving memories are always there to hold onto. He
visited my Dad @ Christmas 2005, just before he passed on. Dad was
so glad to see him once again and Sam even brought him a poinsettia plant, which was so special. You both were always such good Friends
with my Mom & Dad. God Bless You
Willie as you endure this painful
loss of your husband. May God be kind to you as you have always been to everyone you have meant.
Our Prayers and Blessings are being
sent to you All at this time of your grief.

Willie,
I am so sorry to hear of Sam's passing.I have often driven by my old place on Westlake Ave hoping to catch a glimpse of either of you. I wish I had taken the time to stop in, I know better.
I have such fond memories of you and Sam. The coin he put in his driveway that was stolen, the earthquake that sent us all running out the door, your beautiful garden, homemade jams, you both going to my Grandfather Twomey's wake before I stopped being afraid to attend such events myself. I will always remember how kind both of you were to me and what a loss to the neighborhood Sam's leaving us is. It was a priviledge to be your neighbor.
God bless.
