Ronald Testa Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. - Peru on Feb. 2, 2026.
Ronald J. Testa, originally of Philadelphia, PA and currently living in Peru, NY, passed away peacefully at his home February 2, 2026.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Testa, his son Ron and daughter Loraine Testa, his stepchildren, Bryan, Amy, and Douglas Kirk, six grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He was 87 years old.

There will be a Mass said for him at St. Augustine's Church in Peru, NY on Friday, March 13 at 10:00 am.

Ron was born in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from Drexel University with a degree in architecture. As a licensed architect he worked for the Kling Lindquist Partnership in Philadelphia, PA for the majority of his career.

Having spent many happy vacations hiking and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Adirondack Mountains, Ron and Gail moved to Elizabethtown, NY in 2006 where they opened and operated the Namaste Inn Bed and Breakfast for 12 years until they sold it in 2017. After a few years away, they were happy to come back to their favorite part of the world, here in the Adirondack Mountains.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, Ron and Gail ask that donations be made to North Country Home Hospice, 358 Tom Miller Road, Plattsburgh, NY, 12901. The doctors and nurses of this wonderful non-profit organization made it possible for Ron to stay in the comfort of his home, near his friends and family, during his illness while providing the very best of care.

Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru, 518-643-9055.
