AUBURN - Thomas E. Hassett, 70, of Lakeview Drive, Auburn, passed away, Sunday, April 21, 2019, at Auburn Community Hospital.
Born in Auburn on Jan. 28, 1949, he was the son of the late John and Helen Lynch Hassett. Mr. Hassett was previously employed as a supervisor for Alco in Auburn. He was an avid reader and history buff.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Margaret Kehoe Hassett; his sons, Greg (Yvonne) Hassett, and Ken (Carrie) Hassett; his grandsons, Owen and Emmett; his brother, John (Cathy) Hassett; his sister, Kathy (John) Baran; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2019, in Sacred Heart Church, 90 Melrose Road, Auburn. A funeral Mass will follow at noon. Entombment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Thomas E. Hassett's memory may be made to Sacred Heart Church
