MONTEZUMA - We are sad to announce the passing of Tim "Tige", 52, on March 26, 2024.
Tige was born on August 21, 1971 in Auburn the son of Geraldine A. (Reading-Helmer).
He was preceded in death by his father, Chet Helmer.
He is survived by his mother, Geraldine "Gerry"; his sisters: Ginger and Brandy Capron, Kelly (Tim) Carmon, Tina Helmer and Patty (Joe) McBride; his brothers: Wayne Capron, Richard J. (Linda), Donald (Lisa) and Gerald Helmer; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tige left this earth way too early and will be sadly missed. A private family service will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Cayuga Fire Department, 6233 Court St., Cayuga, NY 13034.

Wow I don't even know what to say or even Hoe to feel about this news I just received I saw him right before he passed didn't recognize him he looked unwell. Tige was my very first love and first real boyfriend. And all I can really say is I not only fell in love with him but his entire family as well lived with them for a few years so yeah this sucks so bad I'm so sorry mom!!! I'm sorry bout dad too geez you had a year like I did when I lost both parents and a brother. But people shouldn't have to bury their children reguarless I'm so sorry I want to read out to u so bad! My prayers are with u all

Tige ..... I miss you . You were a wonderful man . You were loved by many . I remember when we were young . You with spiked hair and leather jacket ... We had so much fun . I will think of you often my friend .... Love you ...

What can I say that you didn´t know yourself? The fact that you were the best father figure for 10 years. We will miss you please hug and kiss my little sister your precious baby girl.

I am so sorry to hear about Tiges passing. Montezuma has lost quite a few of its young men! I will always remember Tige walking down the High St. hill. He will be missed.
