William Reed Laderer, Jr.

AUBURN - William Reed Laderer, Jr., 44, of Auburn passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2024. Born in Syracuse on June 23, 1979, Billy was the son of Alecia (Imeson) Laderer Butts and the late William Laderer, Sr.
He attended Bryant and Stratton College, receiving an Associate degree in Accounting. He was previously employed with Cayuga Nations in Union Springs.
Billy loved fishing and was an avid fan of all New York sports teams. He had an incredible knowledge of Yankees baseball history. He loved watching many different sports games with his best bud, Scott Shirley. Billy also enjoyed working on puzzles with his dear friend, Kim Bertollini.
Billy is survived by his loving mother and stepfather, Alecia and Charles Butts; his siblings: Benjamin (Amy) Laderer, Travis Butts, Jessie Butts and Michelle (Jamie Pasiak) Butts; his two nieces, whom he was so proud of: Megan Laderer and Gloria Harris; and many extended family and friends.
Billy was predeceased by his father, William Laderer, Sr. in 2009.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 4:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m. in White Chapel Funeral Home, Inc., 197 South Street, Auburn. A memorial service will follow at 5:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Billy my bestest friend,
I will forever miss you, and hold you so close to my heart. From being the best roomate ever, playing video games, camping, fishing, being the best uncle to my kids, and forever smiling when we are together! I know you are looking down on us all and being there with us every day. To bills mom and family especially Alecia you have always treated me like i was your daughter and i will always love you and im so sorry. I will never forget you billy one day we will meet again and play games and go fishing! I love you w all my heart!
