Charlie Wilson Obituary

WARRENTON, Ga. - Charlie Lee Wilson, the son of the late Robert Wilson and the late Daisy Wilson, was born on December 30, 1932 in Warrenton, Ga. He entered into rest on May 29, 2007 at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga. Two of his children, Yvonne Kendrick and Gerald Wilson, preceded Charlie Wilson in death. He leaves to cherish his memories, a wife, Sunbeam Wilson; children, Eileen Willis (Michael), Burnestine Evans (Jimmy), Debra Wilson, June Wilson, Valerie Moss (Alfornia), Charlie C. Wilson and Billy Walker, all of Warrenton, GA., Allen Wilson (Roslyn) of Atlanta and Henry Wilson (Mary) of Sparta, Ga.; four sisters, Annette Rolle, Carolyn Gilbert (Fred), Irene Brown (John) and Deloris Wilson; two brothers, Lorenzo Wilson (Lorraine) and H.B. Wilson; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 3 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Warrenton, GA with Dr. J.L. Hampton, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Union Star Society Cemetery. Dawson's Mortuary of Warrenton is in charge of arrangements.
