Normally, I know what to say in times as these. The therapist in me wants to tell you to take the time to grieve and find comfort and solace in your memories. The Christian in me wants to tell you that God makes no mistakes and to continue to praise your way through your pain. But my heart wants you to know that Corey will be missed by so many people because of the great spirit he possesses. I will pray for your strength during this time of bereavement and the days to come.

Corey, we met in kindergarten which was several years ago now. Whether we were small kids playing after school,or you coming over with your mom to play or even up until becoming adults,there were two things that remained constant. Corey, you are my friend and I hope that you know how much mean you mean to me. Our after school conversations growing up were a major part of my life and believe it or not, you were always there for me. I used to think that you saying, “you’re a good girl” ALL of the time was a bad thing, but I understood as we got older. My only regret is that we did not stay in touch constantly over the years. I love you and I will miss you dearly CK!
To Dr. & Mrs. Kemp, David, and family, I wish that I could be there for Corey’s service, but unfortunately, I cannot. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to see you and hug you on Saturday and to feel the strength of your family. You are stronger than I ever will ever be. May memories of Corey bring you peace in the coming years and knowing that Corey’s life touched others bring you comfort and joy in the midnight hour. May God Bless You!

From the time that we recieved the phone call we were deeply saddened by the devastating news of the death of Corey And Melinda.Our Father recently passed on May 24,2011,and we came down from Arizona to funeralize him and Corey was at my sister's house and it was so good to see him,I introduced him to my wife and Kids.Corey i must say you will never be forgotten R.I.P Love you CUZ
