Sherry,
I just heard about your loss. David was a huge influence in my career. He gave me a break right out of college and taught me so much about publishing -- much of which I still use to this day. I wish you peace in this very difficult time in your life. Love to you and Alex,
Angela

Dear Sherry: Please accept condolences from Bea and I on your great loss.
David was the consummate outdoor writer and editor. His passion in the outdoors was fly fishing. His passion in the editing trade was keeping things simple, entertaining, educational and accurate. He complemented those things with a love of history, which I share.
I was so privileged to have met and known him, but for too short a time.

Sherry,
Even the best planning never prepares us for the loss of our loved one.
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy, and know that I am thinking of you and praying for you. I will never forget the help and strength that David provided Richard during both their months of chemo. I was Richard's heart during that time, but David was his fortitude.
I do know what you are going through my friend, for I was in the same place six months ago. If there is anything I can do to help you during this most difficult time, please reach out to me.

When I started my job as manager of Meadow Garden, Mr. Foster came for a tour and he was so helpful to me with his historical knowledge. I will always remember his thoughtfulness and how helpful he was to me.
He will be missed by so many people.
My heart felt sympathy goes out to Sherry and the rest of his family.
