To the Johnson Family, my deepest sympathies to all of you at this most difficult time. I'm so blessed to have known Duncan and had the pleasure of working with him on his Cadillac Business. He had such a bright spirit, and always a kind word. In so many ways a true southern gentleman. My greatest memory will be from November, 2016 Duncan Senior and Duncan Jr. Drove to an off-site meeting we had at a beautiful lodge called the Fork Farm. The dealers had the opportunity to go on a guided quail hunt and of course both Duncan's were paired together with a guide and a dog. That evening we all enjoyed a wonderful oyster bake by the fire and many laughs. And being the gentleman that he was he made sure before he left to tell me good night. Thank you for these special memories from such a special man. My prayers are with all of you, sending my love.

Lynda,
September 1963..met Duncan for the first time with his roommate LJM. Saw your 8x10 sitting on his desk where he sometimes studied while you an Augusta were constantly on his mine.
Trip to Augusta on Murray plane where Gordon Jordan let Dunc take the stick. I was scared!
Meeting the Johnson's, you and your mom who fried dove for two hungry boys.
Then came The Tip Top, Julian Smith Casino, the Heildber all in one weekend. Lynda, that was 57 years ago, but it seems likes yesterday. I loved it then and still love those memories of how we all met. The friendships I made throught Dunc I will always cherish..the Murray's, Greene's,Skelton'so just to name a few.
Sunday night was quite a tribute to the entire Johnson Family. Love and
God Bless,
Carl (as Dunc often called me)

I worked for Johnson Motor Company for 12 years. I will always appreciate the opportunity, guidance and experience I received. Honesty and Integrity were first and foremost for Duncan Sr. He always had an open ear and an open heart. I proudly say I worked in the Car business because I worked at a dealership that did not tolerate deception or lies and taught me take pride in my job and my relationship with customers. I was blessed to be a part of the family and know Duncan will watch over his family from heaven. God bless and keep you.

It seems as if it were only yesterday that I attended Augusta College with Duncan. He was a very fine young gentleman who was very unpretentious and quite mature in his demeanor. Duncan was a positive role model even in his youth. It was an honor to have known him.
