May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I did not know Mr. Bill well, but I would see him at the door greeting me with a smile and always a kind word every Sunday morning. He will certainly be missed at the door of Warren Baptist Church, but his memory will live on forever. Bonnie, please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray in the coming days that you will find comfort, peace and strength from our Lord Jesus Christ.

I will miss Bill at Warren's door. He always had a welcoming smile and
a wise crack or two. My sympathy is extended to Bonnie and his
family. He will be remembered for his care and attention to others.

We here at the Savannah Rapids Park and Pavilion have enjoyed a long relationship with Bill and Bonnie. For years we were their cause. They have loved our park and picked up trash, reported necessary repairs and just enjoyed coming here. They would both stop into the office and ask how we were all doing, we would catch up on families and world issues. We haven't seen either of them for a while and we frequently talk about how nice it was to have two friends of the park that gave so much, only because they wanted to do their part to keep the park clean and safe for everyone. We have missed and will now continue to miss Bill, we hope to continue to see Bonnie. Such caring people are few and far between and when they're gone, no one can fill the void. We will miss you Bill.

I sure do know a whole lot of folks who are going to miss this man, especially on Sunday mornings where he manned his post at the main entrance to Warren Baptist Church so faithfully. I once had the privilege of taking Bill to Kirby Smart’s UGA Football practice about 3 years ago, something I knew he would never forget, nor would I. Grateful to have a handful of precious memories with this man. Will be praying for the family in the coming days & weeks. So sorry for your loss, but I know where this man is now & believe me, it’s a cause for celebration!
