K.C. Powell was not only my Brother In Law, but he was a good friend who was kind and hospitable to my wife and me when we visited the family from our home in Texas. He always gave me the keys to his car and home. My wife's sister was his wife. They loved each other and had a good marriage through good times and bad. He had a good sense of humor and told of his experiences in the Second World War as he served in the Navy. Later he joked about his jobs in Augusta and his many friends and family. He was loved by his two daughters and their families. We miss him but know he is with the Lord because of his faith.

When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. May that wonderful treasure fill your heart with love and bring you a measure of peace. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
