Louise Askew Obituary

Retired School Teacher AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Thursday, December 25, 2003 at University Hospital, Mrs. Askew was the wife of the late Issac C. Askew. Other family members include her two sons: Isaac C. 'Mike' Askew, III of Augusta and Carlton King Askew of Rome, Ga.; three grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Mrs. Askew was a graduate of Georgia State College for Women, and taught school in Warren County, Harlem, and Wrens, and lived in Warrenton from 1956 to 1994. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Augusta. Graveside services will be held (today) Saturday, December 27, 2003 at 2 p.m. in Westover Memorial Park with Dr. Rodger Murchison officiating. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church 3500 Walton Way, Augusta, GA. 30909 or the charity of ones choice. Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Road.
