Megan, Gil & Jill, Our deepest most sincere sympathy goes out to you in this tragic event! My heart sank to my toes & remained heavy all week. Catherine & I could not get to your family or the sign in book at the visitation or the funneral due to the overwheming response & support from family, freinds & the community. I knew that you were all exhausted & needed to get home for some rest & relief. You were so kind to stay after the funneral-weary as you must have been so that folks could pay their respects. The funneral was uplifting & beautiful just as Melissa was & still is. I'm sure the crowds of support helped you endure the disturbingly sad time. Our tears streamed down our face & clothing along with everyone's on Thursday evening at the final good-bye. Melissa's beauty, inside & out, was the image of grace. Her talent & kindness touched us all. Know that we are heartsickened with you at this phase of grievance, although we know that God gives us acceptance through faith even in the most difficult challenges & struggles. I pray for your contentment, relief & God's intervening peace to come upon you in these next few months. It seems that He has already granted you these gifts. Megan, Catherine really wanted to see you to just say how sorry she truly is. No words can suffice but as I said before we could not get through the crowd at the visitation so we went ahead to get a seat in the sancuary because we thought by the size of the crowd ... that we might not fit in the church to hear the funneral if we didn't get out line & go ahead in. One more thing on a lighter note- I just hope that Melissa got a piece of the cake at the engagement party instead of eating her bag of carrots! Faithfully, Devorah, Gary, Catherine & Andy Pringle

I so sorry to hear of your loss. May your memories bring you comfort. I did not have the pleasure of meeting her, my child was not on the swim team, but not during her time coaching. Just by reading about her I feel I have a sense of how wonderful and beautiful she was inside, outside and to others. The feeling of how positive she was comes through by seeing her beautiful picture and reading all about her. What great love and support you must have giving her. May God comfort you until you see her again up with Him in the light of love and peace.

Melissa was a frequent shopper at my boutique, and every time she visited me we became better and better friends. It didn't take us long to figure out all the things we had in common. Melissa was always shopping for a birthday or "pick-me-up" gift for a friend. Her inside beauty was just as obvious as her outside beauty. I already miss her smiling face. I hope her family finds comfort knowing that she set an example for others for what a true friend should be.

To the Family of Melissa Eustice: Melissa was one of the first people I met when I started high school at Lakeside. She made the first days in a new place more bearable. Shortly after we met I began to walk down a road I knew I should not be walking down. After graduating high school the Lord redirected my path and called me to the ministry. I now minister to addicts and alcoholics in the northwest Georgia area. I thank God for Melissa's life and for the example she was to me during my time of wandering. My prayers are with the family.
