Minnie Bussell Obituary

GIBSON, Ga. - With her loving niece, Elizabeth, by her side, Miss Minnie Lee Bussell, 97, entered into Heaven peacefully early Friday morning, April 5, 2013, from the Gibson Health & Rehabilitation Center. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Warthen, GA on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 2:00PM with Rev. Tim Powell and Rev. Griffin Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nancy Jane and Green Bussell; all her siblings, Willie Bussell, Charlie Bussell, Harris Bussell, Nan Green and Lillie Parker; her nieces, Lillie Larsen of El Paso, TX, Janet Brown and Louise Sheppard; and her nephews, Walter Bussell and Willie Bussell. Survivors her niece, Elizabeth Thompson (Griffin) of Wrens; and her nephew, Bobby Bussell (Jeanette) of Harrison; and several great nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Thompson, Brian Thompson, Patrick Thompson, Lonnie McDonald, Mell Daniels, Cody Collier, Glen Bussell, Henry Bussell and Perry Bussell. The family will receive friends at Bethlehem Baptist Church after the services. The family wishes to express their heart-felt thanks to Gibson Health & Rehab Center and Dr. Chris Sheppard for the tender, loving care shown to Minnie for the 10 years she was a resident.
