Mitchell Martin Obituary
Funeral services will be held from the graveside in Hillcrest Memorial Park, this Friday, April 7, 2017 at 1:00 PM. with Chaplain Steven M. Russ officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the grave.
Mr. Martin, a native of North Carolina, had made the Augusta area his home most of his life and was the son of the late Marvin and Dorothy Dillard Martin. He loved to garden, go fishing, was a great cook and he was a member of the Methodist Church.
Other survivors include his children, Mitchell Martin, Jr. and his wife Miranda; his daughter, Melissa Martin; his sister, Rhonda Sellers; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and his beloved pet dog Lady.
The family would like to express a special thank you ro Heartland Hospice for the wonderful care given to Mr. Martin and if desired memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, 153 Davis Road, Augusta, GA, 30907.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
