I was deeply saddened on Thursday; along with other members of NAIW, the hosting association and friends when we received the news of Nancy's accident and death. I am still in disbelief as I can still see her smiling face and all the times that we spent on committees and during other activities within the Association. She will truly be missed but I know she is looking down on all of us from Heaven and saying -- "it will be allright" -- as she is at peace and not suffering. She had many friends that loved her and will always remember her. God Bless her family and my continued prayers along with those of others I hope will comfort you in the days and nights to follow. Love and take care of one another as Nancy would want you to and God Bless and keep you.

I am so sorry for the loss of your wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother. I didn't know Nancy at all, but I can tell from all the entries that she was a wonderful person who was loved very much. My children and I were witness to the accident and we prayed fervently for her survival. Words cannot express the saddness we feel and we didn't even know her. I'm glad to know that one day we'll get to meet her heaven. Blessings to you all.

In one of the thoughts given here, I saw the perfect phrase: "the family of Nancy". Everywhere she went, she seemed to create a family of friends.
