Patricia Babb Obituary
North Augusta, SC—Mrs. Patricia McCarthy Babb, 73, beloved wife of the late Jerry Babb, of North Augusta, SC, entered into rest on Saturday, November 28, 2020.
A lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Jacob W. McCarthy and Willie Mae Davis McCarthy. She was a retired nurse, where she served for 50 plus years. She enjoyed cooking and baking, playing card games, shopping at the thrift stores, traveling, serving at Newspring Church in Aiken, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Babb is survived by her children, Timothy Babb(Summer), Michael Babb(Christy), Paul Babb(April), Seth Babb(Sarah), siblings, Lonnie McCarthy and James Seigler, sister in law, Frances Babb, grandchildren, Joshua Babb, Jared Babb, Hannah Babb, Nathan Babb, Rachel Babb, Jordan Babb, Kylie Babb, Bella Babb, Caden Burke, Kaylee Burke, Judah Babb, Miles Burke, Jaxon Babb, Jasper Babb, Xoe Babb and Phenix Babb, longtime neighbor and friend, Dianne Maloney.
The family will greet friends on Friday, December 11, 2020, from 6 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway Graniteville, SC.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 11 o'clock, at Newspring Church, 1108 Cedar Lane, Aiken, SC 29801. Officiating will be Pastor Gene Brown, Pastor Bill Branch, and Pastor Matt Steelman. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Augusta, GA 30906.
