I remember driving through Greensboro and Bob asked be to have dinner with him and Lonnie. He was a very nice man and I always enjoyed his company. I'm glad he has so many descendents to remember him.

Lonnie, please accept my condolences. I knew Bobby since I was five or six years old and have vivid memories of swimming in Piney Lake with him and his father nearly sixty years ago. I also remember shopping at Blumenthals with my mother and most likely buying a few shirts and khakis. While I lost touch over the years I will always remember him as a kind and fun person...what more could one want?

Bobby was my next door neighbor on West Keeling Rd in Greensboro. My family loved him and his family. I am so happy that I saw him last summer at our GHS reunion and met his wonderful wife. He will be missed.

I first met Blue in the fall of 2012 as I was caregiving for the couple across the street. He was such a tender, caring man - always looking out for others - even when he felt bad. He will be missed!
