Samuel "Tee" Hadden

AVERA, Ga. - Mr. Samuel "Tee" Hadden, 79, beloved Husband of 49 years of Joyce W. Hadden, the son of the late Thomas Jefferson and Bertha Clyde Hadden, went to be with the Lord Wednesday March 22, 2006 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday March 25, 2006 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. With the Revs. Donald Lumpkin and Lester Clark officiating. Burial follows in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 P.M. Friday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Hadden was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where he was an active member of the Choir and a Deacon, He was retired from E. I. DuPont of 37 years as an Operator and served in the U.S. Army during Korean war. Mr. Hadden is survived his one son, Tommy (Candice) Hadden, Wrens, Ga.; three daughters, Carolyn (Tommy) Farmer, Augusta Ga., Cheryl (Clint) Hardy, Evans Ga., Tracie (Ron) Bryant, Aiken, S.C.; two brothers, Morris "Gus" Hadden, New Ellenton, S.C., Thomas (Bud) Hadden, Avera, Ga.; one sister, Elsie Milburn, Gibson Ga.; nine grandchildren, Trey Skeens, Augusta, Ga., Christy Rackliffe Columbia, S.C., John Story, Atlanta, Ga., Greg Story, Evans, Ga., Little Clint Hardy, Evans Ga., Julianne Bryant, Aiken, S.C., Cory Bryant, Aiken, S.C. Tyler Hadden, Wrens Ga., Sydney Hadden, Wrens Ga. and a great-grandchild, Savannah Rackliffe, Columbia, S.C.; and a special nephew, Melvin (Debra) Hadden, Bartow, Ga. Mr. Hadden was preceded in death by his two brothers, William "Bill" Hadden, Lloyd Hadden, and two sisters, Goldie Standridge and Gladys Cain. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Hadden, Dwain Hadden, Bob Hadden, Chester Radford, Lucius Thigpen, Robert Kodama, Jason Sheppard, Brady Hadden, John Padgett, Melvin Hadden, Dan Faust.
