Sandra Duggan Obituary

Duggan AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Tuesday, November 22, 2016, Mrs. Sandra Stephens Duggan, 72, wife of 57 years to Mr. B.L. Duggan. Mrs. Duggan was a native of Odum, Ga. She was the co-owner of Duggan Heating and Air. She loved fishing at Lake Thurmond every spring, enjoyed going to the NASCAR race in Daytona in February with friends, traveling to all parts of the world, but especially spending time with her beloved children and grandchildren. Family members in addition to her husband include children: Terrie Duggan Black and husband Randy and Tony Duggan and wife Carol; grandchildren: Micah Black, Mason Black, Alexander Duggan and Chandler Duggan; sisters: Doris Perry, Alien Hobbs and Patricia Duggan; brother: Irvin Stephens and a host of other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mary and Alton Stephens and brothers, Buddy Stephens and Harold Stephens. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 2:00 in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Billy Duggan and Rev. Ken Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd., Augusta, GA 30909 or to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Rd., Augusta, GA 30907 (706) 364-8484. My deepest condolences for your families loss. Mrs. Duggan was truly a wonderful woman. There are so many accomplishments that she achieved during her life that there isn't enough room to list them all. A brilliant business woman sums it up for her. She will truly be missed by many. Prayers being sent to her family members for the days ahead.
