Cousin Stella was a beautiful kind and generous person. She had a warmness about her that made you enjoy being around her. She was easy going and even tempered. Cousin Stella lived around the corner from us growing up and we enjoyed visiting her. She truly loved and was so proud of her family. Her kindness will always be her trademark as she is surely missed.

"God looked around his garden
And found an empty space.
Then He looked down upon this earth
And saw your grandmother’s tired face.
He put his arms around her
And lifted her to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
He only takes the best."
Please accept my deepest condolences. I am praying for strength and comfort for you and your family at this time. I am praying for you to get through this time with peace that comes from the knowledge that God loves you and will take care of you.

They say a tree is known by the fruit it produces. I know Mrs. Sapp was a blessed tree because I have had the pleasure of working with her granddaughter, Ms. Arnold. She spoke with so much love and concern about her grandmother and her care. You and yours are always in my prayers.

LaTasha,
Please know that we are holding you close in prayer. There are few things more special than the love of a grandmother and it's very heartbreaking to lose that. We know, however, that the many years you had together have left you with wonderful, precious memories. May those memories carry you through the rough patches and bring you out on the other side with a glorious smile on your face. How can we not smile when we remember the times shared with those we love.

Mrs. Sapp was my mother's room-mate at Golden Living/Windermere nursing facility for the last 9 mos. She nick-named me "pretty face" (not sure if she ever really knew my real name). She was one of the most amazing women that I've ever met (and one of the sweetest). There was NEVER a day that I went to the nursing home (and I go there every other day) that she did not give me an encouraging word that I could take along home with me to ponder or live by. There were days when I could feel her agonizing "pain & suffering" in her physical body, but she always welcomed me to come sit and talk with her. She would bragg on her children & family members & how much she encouraged them to be kind to people & to become educated. I loved sitting there listening to her many stories that she shared with me about her life with family & her business that her mother taught her to do hair. She left a "legacy" that every one of her family members (and friends & all who knew her) should pattern after. I will miss her soooooo much when I go out there to see my mother. But, I am happy that she's now at peace with her brand new "healed & whole" body in Heaven with JESUS. Stay encouraged family as you reflect on those precious memories that she left you and continue to live the legacy that she made/left as she journeyed through life while here on in this difficult world. We'll all see her again one day (if we live for JESUS)!
