Thomas Hadden

EVANS, Ga. - Mr. Thomas Michael Tommy Hadden, 53, entered into rest on November 15, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Platt's Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Greg Porterfield officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park. Tommy, a native of Augusta, attended Butler High School, Augusta State and the University of Georgia, where he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He was employed by the Graniteville Company and the Augusta Waterworks before entering into many years of service as a health protection inspector at the Savannah River Site. Tommy enjoyed renovating houses, traveling and UGA football. He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Garner, sister, Terri Hadden Brown (Jerry), brother, Al Hadden (Lisa), wife, Susan Hadden, and children, Rachael, Lauren and Thomas II, in addition to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Aldene Hadden Sr., and his stepfather, William Garner. If so desired, memorials may be made to the CSRA Humane Society, PO Box 14667, Augusta, Ga. 30919.
