Timothy Stansell Obituary

1955-2015 NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral service for Mr. Timothy Wayne Stansell, 59, of North Augusta, will be Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the Alexander City Methodist Church in Alexander City, Alabama. Rev. Wayne Cowhick will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park, Alexander City. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 3, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Alexander City. Mr. Stansell passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at University Hospital. He was born on October 11, 1955 in Alexander City, Alabama to Alver Judson Stansell and Elizabeth Bowen Stansell. Mr. Stansell graduated from Hackneyville High School and Auburn University. He loved golfing, fishing, and listening to music. Mr. Stansell was an avid fan of Auburn football and Duke basketball. He is survived by his wife, Cecelia Ann Smith Stansell of North Augusta, S.C.; daughter, Carrie Lynn Holmes (Brandon), of Modoc, S.C.; son, Christopher Logan Stansell (Nicole), of North Augusta, S.C.; grandchildren, James Holmes, Hannah Holmes, and Aiden Stansell; mother, Elizabeth Bowen Stansell; and sister, Teresa Bishop (Howard), of Alexander City. He was preceded in death by his father, Alver Judson Stansell.
