Violet Green Obituary

WARRENVILLE, S.C. - Entered into rest Sunday, February 9, 2003, Mrs. Violet H. Marchant Green of Warrenville, wife of the late Irvin Green Jr. and the oldest daughter of the late Rev. Howell Marchant Sr. and the late Maudie Kelley Marchant. She is survived by a son George A. 'Arnie' Green of Langley; a sister, Sarah M. Huff of Warrenville; and grandchildren, Christopher Lee Green, Heather Bedenbaugh and Christopher Spires. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Warrenville Revival Center. The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, February 11, 2003, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Leroy Beard and Rev. Charlie Kelley officiating. The interment will follow in the Graniteville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wade Baggott, Don Smith, James Hurt, Dwayne Jacobs, Edward Harris, Jerry Randall and Earl Wilson. The family will receive friends at the residence of James and Sarah Huff, at 139 Elizabeth Street, Warrenville or tonight, Monday, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
